• 3 cups (400g) plain flour or ‘00’ flour
• 2 tsp dried yeast
• 2 tsp salt
• 1 cup warm water
• 3 tbsp olive oil
• ½ to 1 tsp castor sugar

Resting Time: 30-60 minutes
Step 1. Combine 1 cup warm water, yeast, sugar and salt in a jug. Whisk with a fork to dissolve. Cover with plastic wrap. Set aside in a warm place for 5 minutes or until bubbles appear on the surface.
Step 2. Sift flour into a bowl. Add yeast mixture and oil. Mix to form a soft dough. Turn onto a lightly floured surface. Knead for 10 minutes, either by hand or with a mixer set to low speed, until the ingredients are blended. Now hand-knead the dough or mix with a dough hook on a low speed for about 10 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Step 3. Place dough in a lightly greased bowl. Cover with plastic wrap. Stand in a warm place for 25 to 30 minutes or until dough has doubled in size.
Step 4. Divide dough in two or four and roll out pizza bases and add desired toppings.
