A Smart Install with Heart: Frank’s JA70 Pizza Oven Story
Frank Volza from NSW has recently completed a very clever install of his JA70 Real Brick Pizza Oven, and the end result is just as impressive as the journey to get there.
Frank started by building a solid base and benchtop designed to house both his pizza oven and BBQ side by side. While he did most of the bench build himself in his spare time, he had a helping hand from his brother-in-law when it came time to pour the concrete — a true family effort from the ground up.
With a narrow side gate ruling out traditional access, Frank hired a crane to lift the oven into place. When the crane arm couldn’t quite reach the final position, a bit of thinking was required. Using steel rods on a temporary bench, Frank carefully rolled the oven into its final spot. Teamwork, patience and a dash of creativity did the trick.
Frank chose to purchase his oven from Jalando Pizza Ovens because we had exactly what he was looking for. He loved the classic brick arch look of the JA70 Real Brick, and when our end-of-financial-year specials came up, the decision was easy. Just as importantly, our freight company had no issues transporting the oven all the way from Melbourne directly into his garage — something other suppliers couldn’t offer. The real reason behind Frank’s purchase, however, is what makes this story extra special. Frank has five adored grandchildren, and creating a space to spend quality time together was at the heart of his decision. He can’t wait to watch his grandkids make pizzas, use their imagination with toppings, and share laughs around the oven — turning family gatherings into lasting memories.
Now that the oven is in place, Frank is ready to fire it up and start cooking pizzas for the people he loves most, and we can’t wait to see what comes out of the oven 🍕🔥
